Since our inception in 1926 we have supported many local and national charities. Some of the recent local charities to benefit include:-

  • Children with Cancer Fund
  • You Raise Me Up
  • St Wilfrid’s Hospice
  • Friends of Eastbourne Hospital
  • East Sussex Foster Care Association
  • Beachy Head Chaplaincy
  • Eastbourne Community First Responders
  • Parkinson’s Society Eastbourne

We also support Sussex Masonic Charities administered by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex. As well as the following:-

  • Provincial Grand Masters Relief Fund
  • Masonic Trout and Salmon Fishing Association
  • Friends of Barford Court
  • TLC Appeal

For reaching 100% of our target our Charity Steward proudly received the 2017 Festival Silver Jewel on behalf of the Lodge from the PGM at the Installation meeting (December 2014)

 

Then at our Installation meeting (December 2016) our Charity Steward received the 2017 Festival Gold Award on behalf of the Lodge from the PGM for attaining 150% of our targetA car donated to St Wilfrid’s Hospice by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Sussex

The Festival Jewel presented to  brethren who donated in excess of £400 to the appeal

 

The Masonic Charitable Foundation

Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.                      The Foundation provides around £20 million in support each year to help Masonic families, other charities, hospices, air ambulances and international disaster relief appeals.

TLC Teddies for Loving Care

The Teddies for Loving Care Appeal provides teddy bears free of charge to Hospital Accident and Emergency units, for the medical staff to give to children who are in severe distress and where the staff feel that a teddy to cuddle would assist them in their work. The children keep the teddy and take it home.

 

 
Since the appeal started over one Million teddies have been distributed
